Ball-bearing drawer slides can feature one-way or two-way travel. They contain small metal balls within the rails that reduce friction and, therefore, allowing drawers to open and close more easily. As the name suggests, ball bearing drawer slides are defined by their use of ball bearings. One of the most common types of drawer slides is ball bearing. Both types are mounted below the drawers, but only under-mounted drawer slides are found on the sides. The difference is that center-mounted drawer slides are located in the center of the drawers, whereas under-mounted drawer slides are located on the sides. Like center-mounted drawer slides, they are found below the respective drawers with which they are used. Under-mounted drawer slides are found on the sides. Under-Mounted Drawer SlidesĪlong with center-mounted drawer slides, there are under-mounted drawer slides. They are known as “center-mounted drawer slides” because they are mounted in the center of drawers. If you remove a drawer from the piece of furniture in which it’s installed, you’ll find the center-mounted drawer slides in the center below it. They are mounted directly below in the center of drawers. While all drawer slides use this method of operation, however, they are available in several different types.Ĭenter-mounted drawer slides are characterized by the way in which they are mounted. When you pull open a drawer, it will glide along these slides. Each drawer is secured to a pair of slides. A drawer slide is a component that allows a drawer to move into and out of the furniture in which it’s installed. If a piece of furniture has one or more drawers, it will have at least one slide. Drawer slides are commonly found in cabinets, chests of drawers and other types of furniture.

It will not match the LUT exactly but yea the settings should be Rec.709 as the input gamut and it will look similar. I should add, conversion with a CST is not only the mathematical transform from one color space to the other, there is (by default settings) tone mapping involved which DaVinci does different from what Canon deems as a representative rendering of the scene. ZRGARDNE wrote:Change you CST to Rec709 Colorspace (gammut) and Clog Gamma. Attachments test2.jpg (629.55 KiB) Viewed 1229 times Thanks again for all your help - really appreciate the replies. I'm attaching a reference showing the difference on a couple of clips. I guessed that the Input Colour Space being set to Canon Cinema Gamut might be the issue because it doesn't match the BT.709 Colour Space setting in camera, but it's possible there is another reason for it. So, to recap - my CLOG footage looks basically ok in both Premiere and Resolve when I use the Canon official conversion LUT, which suggests the footage itself is fine and that the problem must be to do with my settings in Resolve. From my own tests, in my own shooting style / lighting styles I prefer CLOG. And secondly, I opt for CLOG over CLOG3 because I don't really need the extra dynamic range and I find CLOG less noisy in the shadows. Firstly, I have a few projects ready to edit which were shot in CLOG, so I need to solve this problem for those. I may try this in future, but I have two issues. Let me know if I have misunderstood though. I'd like to avoid using the conversions LUT from Canon if possible because I heard Resolve's colour management process can provide a high quality result. Are you saying you manually grade your LOG footage from scratch rather than using any colour management or conversion settings? I would prefer to use a colour management conversion myself for consistency and speed. When I use the same Resolve settings as you have used, my footage appears as ungraded LOG. I think this is probably because the only option I have for an Input Colour Space is Canon Cinema Gamut, which I am not shooting in.Īm I on the right track in general? Is there a way to get hold of the correct Input Colour Space for my shoot settings (BT.709)? Or should I stick to the method of applying a conversion LUT?Ĭharles - thanks for posting the examples. The problem I'm having is that my footage looks over-saturated and contrast heavy. A couple of other methods seem to have advantages - either using the Colour Space Transform effect, or using the Project Settings > Colour Management panel to set things up before adding an In put Colour Space to my footage. I've watched various tutorials about how to do this in Resolve and it seems like using a conversion LUT is maybe an outdated and lower quality way to do this. In Adobe Premiere I would normally do this by applying a conversion LUT from Canon. When I get my CLOG footage into Resolve I want to convert it to Rec 709 as a starting point for grading. There is no option to set the Colour Space to Cinema Gamut with CLOG - I only have that option with CLOG 3. By designing my own model, I was asking questions about what I could do differently to get different results, like how to make the legs longer or angled differently. What can I make with that?Įventually I found something I liked and settled on this: I need to experiment some more with the front. It looks like the rear of a short-legged animal! Now that's part of something.but what? After a while I came back to that piece of paper when I looked at it and noticed that I could add a few more folds to make this: Rather than discard my failed attempt I set it aside and moved on to other things. It wasn't until 1929 before most countries adopted hourly time zones. Time zones throughout the world vary, and used to vary even more than they currently do. Most commonly, UTC is offset by an hour, but in some cases, the offset can be a half-hour or quarter-hour, such as in the case of UTC+06:30 and UTC+12:45. UTC offset can range from UTC-12:00 to UTC+14:00. Generally, time zones are defined as + or - an integer number of hours in relation to UTC for example, UTC-05:00, UTC+08:00, and so on. UTC breaks time into days, hours, minutes, and seconds, where days are usually defined in terms of the Gregorian calendar. Most time zones that are on land are offset from UTC.
